Taurus Bass - Personal Project - April 2024

TAURUS BASS
Personnel Design Project - April 2024
I have been playing bass for 27 years and for a long time now I have wanted to create my own instrument, imbued with my musical tastes, the musical instruments and artists that have influenced me the most (both aesthetically and musically) and artistic movements who were founding in the construction of my own style.
Instruments and musical artists influences : Victor Wooten and its Fodera basses; Marcus Miller and its Fender Jazz Bass - Sire Marcus Miller M7 5 strings (the 2 basses I use to play with); Angus Young Gibson SG ; Alan Stivell Cristal Celtic Harp; Paul Stanley Ibanez PS1CM cracked mirror front; Plantegenet Art Deco inspired guitars; Chris Squire Rickenbacker bass; Mark King Starchild Jaydee bass; Verso Gravis bass guitar.
Here is my "Taurus Bass", strongly marked by 30's Art Deco (Emile-Jacques Rulhmann, William Van Alen, Maurice Pico, René Lalique, Auguste Perret, Robert Mallet-Stevens).
Its name is directly linked to its aesthetic evoking the symbol of my zodiacal sign, the Taurus.

Features :
- 4 strings electric bass
- White lacquered alder body with selenite marquetry inlay
- Full length neck-through-body 3-pieces (white ash and walnut)
- Long scale, 24 Frets
- Ebony fingerboard
- Rose Gold fingerboard inlays
- 2 Bartolini dual coils pickups
- 18v active preamp with 3-band EQ
- Rose Gold hardware

I am actively looking for a luthier interested in the manufacture and distribution of my "Taurus Bass"!
